What an incredible gem! I stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting Smicksburg, and I can honestly say it was one of the highlights of my trip. I recently visited this charming restaurant with my family, and I must say, it was an experience to remember! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest welcome. The decor is simple yet inviting, reflecting the cozy, homey atmosphere that you’d expect from a place like this. We ordered a variety of dishes, including their famous chicken pot pie and homemade bread. Let me tell you, the pie was rich and comforting, and the bread tasted like it had just come out of Grandma's oven! The portions were generous, and each plate was beautifully presented. While everything was delightful, the service was a bit slower than we anticipated, especially since the restaurant was quite busy that evening. Our server, although friendly and attentive, seemed slightly overwhelmed. It didn’t ruin our meal, but it’s something to consider if you’re looking for a quick bite. Overall, our experience was wonderful, and we left feeling satisfied and happy. I can’t wait to return and try more from the menu. I highly recommend if you’re in the area and want a hearty, comforting meal with a touch of homestyle cooking!
