I recently had surgery and was fortunate to have Dr. Mai as my anesthesiologist. From the very first consultation, I was impressed by her professionalism and genuine care for her patients. She took the time to explain the entire process to me, ensuring I understood what to expect. I had a lot of anxiety about the procedure, but her calm demeanor and thorough explanations really eased my fears. The day of the surgery, she greeted me with a warm smile and reassured me that everything would go smoothly. I remember her checking in with me multiple times before I went under, which really made me feel valued and looked after. The anesthesia process itself was seamless, and I woke up feeling surprisingly alert and comfortable. While the facility was a bit busy, I think that’s a good sign of their reputation! The only minor feedback I have is that it would be great if there were more signs directing patients to the waiting areas and recovery rooms, as it was a bit confusing initially. I had an amazing experience with my anesthesiologist during my recent surgery. Dr. Mai was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly compassionate. I especially appreciated her personalized approach; she tailored the anesthesia plan to my medical history and comfort levels. It was evident that she is passionate about her job, and that made me feel at ease. The only reason I’m not giving a perfect score is that the pre-surgery waiting area could use some improvements—perhaps some magazines or calming music to help patients relax while waiting. Nevertheless, my surgery went smoothly, and I woke up with minimal discomfort thanks to her skilled care. I would recommend her to anyone needing anesthesia; she made a potentially stressful situation much more manageable!
