Having had the opportunity to witness the transformative power of animal therapy firsthand, I can confidently say this organization is a gem. My friend introduced me to this program when I was struggling with depression. I was hesitant at first, but the warmth of the staff and the gentle demeanor of the therapy dogs quickly put me at ease. During my sessions, I was paired with a sweet Golden Retriever named Bella, whose soothing presence was a game changer for me. The sessions are structured, yet they feel organic and flow naturally, allowing the clients to engage at their own pace. Each week, I looked forward to our time together, as Bella and I formed a bond that felt incredibly special. The only small criticism I have is that the waiting area could use a bit more seating, especially since more people seem to be discovering the benefits of this service. Overall, though, the work they do here is nothing short of remarkable, and I am so grateful to have found this lifeline. If you’re considering it, just go for it—you won’t regret it!

I recently volunteered at this incredible organization, and I must say, it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The staff is incredibly passionate about their mission, and it's truly inspiring to see how much they care for both the animals and the individuals they serve. I got to meet a lovely therapy dog named Max, who has a knack for making everyone smile. The training the animals undergo is impressive, and you can tell that they are well-cared for. I also appreciated the emphasis on creating a safe environment for the clients. It’s heartwarming to see how these interactions positively impact the people involved, especially those with disabilities or mental health challenges. The only thing I would suggest is possibly offering more training sessions for volunteers, as I found myself wanting to learn even more about how to effectively assist during therapy sessions. Overall, this organization is making a significant difference, and I can’t wait to go back and volunteer again next month!

I had a lovely experience with this organization recently. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and I really appreciated the care they put into matching clients with the right therapy dogs. During my visit, I met a fantastic Labrador named Charlie, who was absolutely delightful and helped me open up about my feelings. It was evident that the dogs are well-trained and truly enjoy their work. The sessions are effective and thoughtfully designed to cater to individual needs. The only recommendation I have would be to extend the hours on Fridays, as I believe more people would benefit from additional availability. Overall, it’s a fantastic program that is making a positive impact in the community!
