I have been living in Cowden Hall for over a year now, and it has really grown on me. When I first arrived, I was a bit overwhelmed, but the friendly atmosphere quickly made me feel at home. The organized events really help foster a sense of community; I recently attended a game night that was a blast! Plus, the study rooms are a major bonus—they're quiet and equipped with everything you need to focus on your work. The Wi-Fi speed is pretty reliable, which is essential for online classes. However, I wish the laundry facilities were a bit larger; sometimes, they can get crowded, and I’ve had to wait to do my laundry. Overall, though, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a supportive living space while studying at NAU.

As a sophomore at NAU, I've had my fair share of dorm experiences, and I have to say, Cowden Hall has been a really positive one for me. The community vibe is fantastic! The common areas are always buzzing with students, making it easy to meet new friends and study together. I particularly love the cozy lounge where you can kick back and watch movies or just hang out. The staff is also super friendly and quick to help with any maintenance issues. My only critique would be the parking situation; it's a bit tight, especially during the weekends. But overall, I’ve enjoyed my time here and feel that it’s a great place to live while pursuing my education. Definitely recommend if you want a lively atmosphere and a supportive community!

I’m currently living at Cowden Hall, and I’ve had a pretty good experience so far. The layout of the dorm allows for both social interactions and personal space, which is something I really appreciate. The staff is attentive and always willing to help when I have questions. I do think the kitchen could benefit from some more cooking supplies, as it can be a bit sparse at times. Still, I have made some great friends here, and that’s what really counts!
