What an incredible find! During my recent trip, I chose to stay at a quaint hostel that turned out to be a gem! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the charming decor and the friendly vibe. The staff greeted me with warm smiles, and they took the time to recommend local attractions and hidden gems to explore. I stayed in a private room that was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable, complete with great amenities. The communal areas were lively, filled with both locals and travellers chatting, sharing meals, and planning adventures together. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to whip up a meal. I particularly loved the movie nights they hosted, creating a wonderful sense of community. Plus, the location was fantastic – just a short walk to the city centre and the beautiful lakes. My only suggestion would be to add a few more options for breakfast, as the selection was a bit limited. However, this didn't take away from my overall experience. I left feeling rejuvenated and excited to share my stories with friends back home. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a memorable stay while soaking in Rotorua's beauty!

I recently stayed at a backpackers’ spot while exploring the stunning landscapes of Rotorua, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and the staff were not only friendly but genuinely eager to help. As a solo traveller, I appreciated how easy it was to meet fellow backpackers from around the world; the communal kitchen was particularly lively, with everyone cooking and sharing stories. The dorms were clean and spacious, plus the bunk beds felt sturdy enough to ensure a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring the geothermal wonders. One of my favourite features was the outdoor area, with hammocks and a barbecue – perfect for relaxing after a day spent hiking. The only minor drawback was the Wi-Fi; it was a bit spotty at times, especially in the common areas, but it didn't ruin my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a friendly and vibrant atmosphere while in Rotorua. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I can’t wait to return!
