I stumbled upon this charming general store on my way to visit some friends, and I’m so glad I did! The store has a wonderfully rustic feel, which made it a delightful stop. I was drawn in by its inviting sign and ended up exploring much more than I intended. The interior was packed with a variety of items that catered to every traveler’s need—from snacks and drinks to automotive supplies. The gas pumps are conveniently located, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. I had just filled my tank at a different station, but I couldn’t resist topping off with a little more fuel here. One thing that stood out was the selection of beverages. They had a local soda that I had never tried before, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! I also noticed they had a nice area for picnic supplies, which could be perfect for those traveling with kids or planning a day out. Though the service was friendly, I think they could benefit from having another cashier during peak hours. I had to wait a bit longer than I would have liked because there was only one person at the register. I recently stopped by this general store while on a road trip, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations! Right off the bat, the convenience of its location was a huge plus. It’s just off the highway, making it an ideal pit stop. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile from the staff, which made me feel right at home. They were incredibly helpful and answered all my questions about local snacks and drinks! The store has a fantastic selection of items, from travel essentials to unique local goods. I was pleasantly surprised to find some homemade jams and snacks that are hard to find elsewhere. I picked up a jar of peach preserve that was absolutely delicious. The shelves were well-stocked, and everything was organized neatly, which made it easy to navigate the store. One aspect I really appreciated was the clean restrooms. After a long drive, it’s always a relief to find a tidy and well-maintained restroom. The only thing I would suggest is that they could introduce a rewards program for frequent customers. It would be a nice touch and encourage more people to return. But all in all, I had a fantastic experience. I left feeling refreshed and equipped for the rest of my journey. I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area – you won’t regret it!
