I took my mother to see Dr. Thyssen after she had been experiencing digestive troubles. The first impression was fantastic; the waiting area was comfortable, and the staff was super welcoming. Dr. Thyssen had an excellent rapport with her, making her feel at ease while discussing what can be a sensitive topic. He was very thorough in his examination and provided a number of practical solutions that were easy for her to follow. I really appreciated how he involved us both in the conversation about her treatment plan. The only feedback I would have is that it would be nice to have some reading materials available in the waiting room to help pass the time, but honestly, we hardly noticed the wait once we were in with him. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a compassionate and skilled gastroenterologist!
