I recently joined this credit union after hearing great things from friends and I must say, my experience has been quite positive! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, which instantly made me feel at home. They have a lovely, welcoming atmosphere that is a breath of fresh air compared to larger banks I've used in the past. I was especially impressed by how knowledgeable and patient the representatives were while helping me set up my accounts and explaining the various services. They took the time to answer all my questions without making me feel rushed at all. I went in for a personal loan and was pleasantly surprised by how streamlined the process was. The loan officer really took the time to understand my needs and presented options that made sense for my situation. The rates were competitive, and I appreciated the transparency throughout the process; there were no hidden fees or surprises. However, I did notice that their hours are a bit limited, as they’re closed on weekends. This can be a little inconvenient for those of us who work Monday to Friday and can only visit during lunch breaks. It would be great if they could consider opening up on Saturdays, even just for a few hours, to accommodate more customers. Just last week, I had an issue with a transaction and after calling their support line, I was connected to a representative who resolved my issue in under ten minutes! It was refreshing to speak with someone who was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely empathetic to my situation. They really prioritize their members, which is something I value highly. Another thing I love is their community involvement. They regularly sponsor local events and support various charities, which makes me feel proud to be a part of an institution that cares about its community. The only minor drawback I’ve noticed is that sometimes their wait times can be a bit long during peak hours, especially right after work.
