The other night, I decided to try this restaurant after hearing so much buzz about it, and I was excited to finally see what all the fuss was about! Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the lively decor and the inviting smell of spices wafting through the air. I ordered the pounded yam with vegetable soup, and it did not disappoint! The flavors were rich and unique, transporting me to another world with each bite. The portions were generous, and I felt satisfied without having to overindulge. However, I noticed that the service was a bit slow, especially when it came to getting the waiter’s attention for refills. It wasn’t a huge issue since I was enjoying my meal, but it could improve. I also appreciated the variety of options on the menu, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. For dessert, I tried the chin chin, which was a delightful sweet treat! Overall, I left feeling happy and full, and I am definitely planning another visit to explore even more of their menu. If you’re in the mood for something different and flavorful, this place is worth checking out!

I had such a wonderful experience at this West African restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a vibrant atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The decor really showcased the culture beautifully, and it added to the overall experience. I ordered the jollof rice with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious! The rice was perfectly spiced, and the chicken was tender and flavorful. I also tried the plantains, which were crispy on the outside and soft inside—definitely a must-have! My only small complaint would be the wait time; the food took a while to come out, but honestly, it was worth it. The staff was attentive and friendly, which made the wait more tolerable. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes, especially the egusi soup that I saw other tables enjoying. If you’re looking for authentic West African cuisine in a cozy setting, I highly recommend giving this place a visit! You won’t regret it!
