I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful little spot in the Bronx, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. Now, let’s talk food! I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos, which were bursting with flavor. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the accompanying salsa added just the right amount of kick. I also couldn’t resist trying their house-made guacamole; it was fresh, creamy, and just divine! One of the highlights was definitely the dessert – I went for the chocolate lava cake, and wow, it was a dream come true! Hot, gooey chocolate inside with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side made for a perfect ending. Though everything was fantastic, there were a couple of minor hiccups. The wait time for my food was a bit longer than I anticipated, but I could tell the kitchen was really busy and the staff was working hard. Also, the music was a tad too loud for my taste, which made it a little difficult to hold a conversation. Overall, I left feeling satisfied and eager to return. What a delightful surprise! I stumbled upon this restaurant while exploring the Bronx, and I’m so glad I did. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great spot to unwind. I ordered the chicken adobo, and it was absolutely fantastic! The chicken was tender and flavorful, paired with perfectly cooked rice that soaked up all the wonderful sauce. The portion sizes were generous too! The service was attentive, and my server was super friendly, which made the experience even better. My only suggestion would be to improve the drink selection a bit; I would have loved to see more specialty cocktails on the menu. Other than that, I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back for more!
