I recently visited Lake Desire with my family, and it was nothing short of magical! The scenery is stunning, with crystal-clear water surrounded by lush greenery. We spent hours picnicking by the shore and even took a dip in the lake. The kids loved splashing around and playing games. I do wish there were more shaded areas, as it got pretty warm in the afternoon. However, the overall experience was fantastic. We even rented a canoe for a while, which was a highlight of our day. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with maps and local tips. We definitely plan to return soon for more family adventures. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful day out in nature!

Absolutely love this lake! I came here last weekend for some kayaking, and I was blown away by the beauty of the surroundings. The water was calm and perfect for paddling, and I loved exploring the little inlets. The wildlife was incredible too! I spotted several ducks and even a couple of herons. I must say, the atmosphere here is incredibly peaceful, making it an ideal getaway. One small thing I would suggest is to have more signage around the area to help newcomers navigate better. Other than that, everything was perfect! The experience was so refreshing, and I left feeling so recharged. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this beautiful gem. I can't wait to return and try out their fishing spots next time!

What a gem! I stumbled upon this beautiful lake during a weekend trip to Maple Heights, and I’m so glad I did. The tranquility of the area immediately captivated me. I spent the day hiking along the trails that wind around the lake, and I can’t say enough about the breathtaking views! The trails are well-maintained, and there are plenty of spots for photography enthusiasts. I even saw families fishing, and it seemed like a great spot for that too! The only downside was the limited facilities; I didn’t find any restrooms nearby, which could be challenging for families with young children. However, I managed just fine with some planning. I brought a picnic to enjoy by the water, and the peaceful atmosphere was worth the trip alone. I spent hours just relaxing and soaking up the sun. If you’re looking for a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, this place is just perfect. I’ll definitely be back with my friends next time, as I think they would love it just as much!
