I recently spent a weekend at this wildlife refuge, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The breathtaking views were just what I needed for a peaceful escape from the city. I went birdwatching early in the morning and was lucky enough to spot several species, including some beautiful herons and even a few egrets. The trails are well-maintained, making it easy to explore the area without getting lost. I loved how tranquil everything felt; it was the perfect setting for photography or simply to enjoy nature. The 24-hour access is a huge plus, as I got to experience the stunning sunrise over the marshes. My only feedback would be to add a few more signs along the paths to help guide visitors, especially for those unfamiliar with the area. But overall, it was a fantastic experience! I can’t wait to return with my family; I know they will love it just as much as I did. If you're looking for a place to unwind and connect with nature, this refuge is the perfect spot. Don’t forget your binoculars if you’re into birdwatching!
