I recently discovered this gem of a restaurant and I can't stop raving about it! The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a family dinner or a casual lunch with friends. I ordered the classic mofongo, and it was nothing short of perfection. The texture was spot on, and the garlic sauce had just the right kick without being overpowering. The portions are generous, so I had enough to take home for lunch the next day! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure your glass is filled and checking in on how everything is. One small suggestion would be to maybe have a few more vegetarian options on the menu; my sister is vegetarian and had to settle for a side salad, which was good but not quite as filling as the other dishes. Overall, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back soon to try their other offerings!

As a Dominican food enthusiast, I’ve been to many spots, but this one really hits the mark! I came here with a couple of friends last weekend, and we all ordered different dishes to share. The arroz con pollo was the highlight for me; the chicken was so tender and flavorful, and the rice was perfectly cooked. I also loved the tostones—they were crunchy and not greasy at all. The service was friendly and efficient, though it did take a little longer than expected for our food to arrive, especially since it wasn’t super busy at the time. However, the food was worth the wait! I appreciated the authenticity of the flavors here; it felt like I was back at my abuela’s kitchen. I will definitely be returning to try the sancocho next time. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving some real Dominican cuisine!

I recently visited this restaurant and had a pretty good experience overall. I went in hoping to find a cozy atmosphere and some comforting Dominican fare, and that’s exactly what I got. The sancocho was hearty and well-seasoned, which I loved, but I felt the side of rice could have been a bit fluffier. The staff was very welcoming, and they made us feel right at home. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the place—it was well-kept and tidy. I think the only real improvement could be the wait time; it was a little longer than I anticipated, but it was definitely worth it for the tasty meal. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying some other dishes!

This place is a delightful surprise. I had the pleasure of dining here last week, and I was really impressed with the vibrant atmosphere and the delicious food. I ordered the pastelón and it was both sweet and savory, with a perfect layer of cheese. The presentation was beautiful as well, which added to the dining experience. I noticed that they have a variety of options, which is great if you're dining with a group since everyone can find something they like. The only downside was that our server was a bit slow to take our order initially, but once we ordered, everything came out quickly. Overall, a fantastic spot to enjoy authentic Dominican food with a lively vibe!
