I’ve been to this local pub a few times now, and each visit has left me with a smile on my face. The décor has a rustic charm that gives it a unique character. I really enjoy the outdoor seating area, especially when the weather’s nice; it’s perfect for enjoying a cold drink after a long day. On my last visit, I ordered the chicken schnitzel, which was absolutely massive and came with a fresh side salad that was crisp and tasty. The only downside was that it took a bit longer than expected for our meals to arrive, but I think it’s because the place was quite busy that night. The staff, though, were attentive and kept us updated, which I appreciated. Overall, it’s a great place to grab a bite and catch up with friends. I do wish they had more options for dessert, but I can't complain too much when the main courses are this good. I’ll definitely keep coming back for the laid-back vibe and hearty meals!

It was tender, packed with flavour, and served with a hearty mash that complemented the dish beautifully. Plus, their craft beer selection was impressive— I tried a local pale ale and it was refreshing. One little thing I’d suggest is to add more vegetarian options to the menu, as my friend struggled to find something appealing. Nevertheless, we ended up having a great night! The live music added to the vibe, making it a perfect spot for a casual evening out. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area; it’s definitely a hidden gem on the route. I can’t wait to come back and bring more friends along next time!

What a fantastic pub! I popped in for a quick drink and ended up staying for dinner. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel at home right away. I loved their selection of wines, and the one I chose was exquisite. I also tried the steak, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy and full of flavour. If I had to nitpick, I would say the seating could be a tad more comfortable, as I found the chairs a bit stiff after a while. But honestly, the food and atmosphere definitely made up for it. I’m looking forward to my next visit and hope to bring some friends along to share this lovely spot!
