I’ve been searching for a place that serves genuine soul food, and I finally found it! What a delightful experience! I came here for brunch with my friends, and we were blown away. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and it was the best I’ve ever tasted! The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the grits were so creamy, they melted in my mouth. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with lovely decor that makes you feel right at home. The staff was incredibly welcoming, which only added to the overall experience. I do think they could benefit from having more seating, as it gets pretty busy, but I understand that’s a good problem to have when the food is this good! I can’t wait to bring my family here next week. Highly recommend trying the oxtails too—they looked amazing!

This place is such a gem! I stumbled upon it while exploring the area and decided to give it a shot based on the reviews. The moment I entered, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a cozy vibe. I had the meatloaf and cornbread, and wow, both were outstanding! The meatloaf was flavorful and moist, and the cornbread was light and sweet, just how I love it. The only thing I wish is that they had more dessert options. The sweet potato pie was amazing, but I would have loved to see a few more choices on the menu. Nevertheless, I truly enjoyed my experience here and look forward to coming back for more of that delicious food.

I can’t express how much I enjoyed my visit here! The moment I walked in, the comforting aroma of home-cooked meals wrapped around me like a warm hug. I ordered the fried chicken and collard greens—let me tell you, the chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The collard greens had just the right amount of seasoning, a true testament to authentic soul food! The staff was incredibly friendly, and they treated me like family. My only minor complaint would be that the seating was a bit cramped during the lunch rush. I’d recommend going a little earlier or later to fully enjoy the atmosphere. Regardless, I left with a full belly and a happy heart. I can’t wait to come back and try their mac and cheese next time. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a taste of home-cooked goodness!
