What a wonderful spot for a family hike! The kids had a blast exploring the paths and spotting lizards. The scenery was stunning, especially from the lookout points. The only downside was that the trail could be a bit steep in some places, which made it a bit challenging for my younger ones. Still, everyone managed well, and we had a great time! Definitely a must-visit for outdoor lovers.

Visiting this trailhead was an incredible experience! I hiked the Cable Mountain Trail, and the views were breathtaking at every turn. The first part of the trail is a gentle incline, which made it perfect for my kids. We saw so many interesting plants and wildlife along the way. I was a bit worried about the road leading up to the trailhead being rough, but it was manageable in our SUV. Just take it slow! I would recommend packing plenty of water and snacks, as there aren’t any facilities nearby. Overall, a fantastic day spent in nature! Can't wait to go back and explore Deertrap Mountain Trail next time.
