Absolutely loved my visit here! The vibe is just perfect for a casual night out. The selection of craft beers is impressive, and I really enjoyed the live music they had. I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming establishment, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening out. I tried their homemade steak and ale pie, and it was absolutely delightful – flaky pastry and rich filling. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The only slight downside was that it got quite noisy later in the evening, which made it a bit hard to chat, but that’s just a sign of a lively pub! Overall, I'll definitely be returning for another round and to explore more of their menu. Highly recommend it for a casual dinner with friends!

What a fantastic find! I visited this lovely pub last weekend while in Ripley, and it was a highlight of my trip. The decor has this charming rustic feel that makes it really cosy – I felt like I stepped into a little slice of countryside heaven. I ordered a pint of their local ale, which was expertly poured, and paired it with the fish and chips, which was served piping hot and crispy. The chips were fluffy on the inside, and the portion was generous. The service was top-notch; our server was knowledgeable about the drinks and made excellent recommendations. My only suggestion would be to expand their dessert options a bit; I would have loved to try something sweet after such a lovely meal. All in all, a wonderful experience, and I can’t wait to visit again!
