I ordered the fried chicken, which was seasoned perfectly—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The collard greens were a standout, cooked with just the right amount of seasoning, and the mac and cheese was creamy and indulgent. It’s clear that the chef knows their way around flavorful comfort food! Service was friendly and attentive, making sure my water was refilled promptly and checking in to see how I liked the food. My only minor suggestion would be to add more dessert options; the sweet potato pie was divine, but I found myself wanting something more after such a hearty meal. I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the barbecue ribs, and they were fall-off-the-bone tender with a smoky flavor that was just right. The cornbread was light and fluffy, a perfect complement to the meal. My only critique would be that the place could use a bit more decoration to really enhance the cozy feel. It’s nice, but a few more personal touches could elevate the ambiance even further. Still, the food quality and friendly staff make this a must-visit for anyone looking for tasty comfort food. I’ll certainly be coming back!
